We have all been through it, when you get a cough and no matter what you do, you just can’t seem to get it to budge. With all the cough syrupes and tablets of the market these days you would have thought there would be an simple solution… But unfortunatley there’s not. So here are a list of tips which will hopefully help you put that cough to rest. If you care to add any please leave a comment at the bottom of this article.
1.Drink Plenty
Drinking plenty of water can help prevent the feeling of a tickel at the back of your throat. This feeling is actually a upper respiratory infection which causes what’s known as a “postnasal drip”.
2.Take a Hot Bath
While this may seem like a bad idea, a hot bath can actually help your cough by loosening secretions in the nose.
3. Get a Massage
A full body massage can be a very easy way to get rid of the toxins quickly, however it’s advised that you make sure your cold isn’t contagious so the massager doesn’t end up with it.
4. Vitamin C
When you have a cold or infection your body is naturally running in a lower gear meaning it needs extra daily vitamins and other important minerals. Drinks which are high in vitamin C such as pure orange juice or very sour lemons and oranges are your best bet.
